Inter-Club Shield
The Spring Classics Series brings together all the local reliability rides.
Many of these events have been running for years, and the series was created to boost attendance and encourage riders to support events hosted by other clubs.
Each year the series has grown stronger and for 2026 we're introducing a new Inter-Club Competition.

What is the Inter-Club Shield?
The idea is simple: encourage riders to support not just their own club's event, but others in the series too.
Every club in the Series is in the running, and the shield will go to the club with the most points at the end of the season.
How Do Points Work?
- Your own event: 1 point for every finisher from your club.
- Away events: 3 points for every finisher from your club at any other club's event.
So, turning up for your own ride is great – but riding the others really makes a difference!
The more you support the series, the better your club's chances.
Why Take Part?
- It's a great way to keep the winter miles ticking over
- You'll discover routes and roads you might not normally ride
- Meet and ride with members of other clubs
- And, of course, a bit of friendly rivalry never hurts!
League Table
We'll keep a running tally after each event and publish the league table so you can see how your club is doing.
The Prize
At the end of the series, the winning club will take home the Inter-Club Shield.
